Class Teaching Order
Redwood Rainbows start a new Beginners’ Square Dance Class on the first Monday in January and the first Tuesday in June. The classes are held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and are open to new dancers during the month. The first three dances are free; after that they are $6 for guests, and $5 for club members. Club membership is $10 per year, payable in September and not pro-rated. The current classes are closed, but if you are interested in registering for one of the 2011 classes, you can do that online here.
Following is a list of calls in the order that our caller, Steve Minkin, teaches them. They are linked to Tam Twirlers’ great site called Taminations, which features definitions and animated examples of how the calls are done from the possible starting positions.
While it has turned out to be not practical to keep the list updated every week for each class, we will try to mark how far each class has gone down the list.
